What makes the Marist school distinctive is its attempt to
generate community climate in the school that is permeated by the Gospel of
respect, freedom and love.
That the R.S.E programme will be taught within this
religious dimension which gives the school its own particular ethos. This
quality is found in the education climate, the pastoral care of the individual,
the link established between the general culture and the Gospel and the manner
in which faith is used to illuminate knowledge.
1. The R.S.E programme in Moyle Park
College is designed to be supportive of the primary role parents have as
educators of their children.
2. The R.S.E programme is an integral
part of the Social Personal and Health Education (S.P.H.E) programme in the
college with its emphasis on respect, compassion, self-esteem, tolerance and
responsibility.
