The Parents' Council

The parents or guardians of all students are automatically members of the "Moyle Park College Parents Association".

The Parents Association holds its Annual General Meeting each year in October.

The body of parents / guardians present at the AGM elect members to represent them (at least two from each year group) on the Parents Council.

Last year the Parents Council decided that it was time to review the constitution of the Parents association / Council which was now nearly twenty years old. At our second meeting of this school year in December we decided to appoint a sub-committee to review the constitution and working documentation and to submit a final working document to our January 2010 meeting. This final working document was presented to our meeting on the 18th January and is being displayed here to allow all parents / guardians to give feedback before ratification and adoption at our next meeting on the 1st February 2010.

Feedback - Your feedback is important to us, it is your opportunity to have a direct input. All feedback will be discussed at sub-committee level and if upheld will be included in the final draft which will be presented to the Parents council for ratification and adoption at our next meeting on the 1st February 2010.
